Kristie earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. After working in the accounting and bookkeeping fields for 10 years, she went back to school to pursue a CPA career. She received her B.S. in Accounting in 2002 from Metropolitan State College in Denver, receiving recognition on the President’s Honor Roll, with a 4.0 average.
Kristie quickly passed the CPA exam in 2002 on her first sitting.

Kristie specializes in business and individual tax return preparation. She is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She volunteered at the Volunteer Income Tax Association, an IRS-sponsored program that provides return preparation to low income people.

Kristie has lived in Colorado since 1993. She volunteered at the Bolder Boulder for the last 6 years. She and her husband share an interest in activities with their three children. She enjoys cross country skiing and hiking with the family dogs.
