I have 23 years of experience as a CPA. Having my own accounting firm gives me the opportunity to focus on providing solutions to individuals and small businesses, rather than to large companies. I specialize by industry in personal service businesses, such as healthcare, consultants, attorneys and architects. As well, I have extensive oil and gas experience, though my client base includes many industries.

Client needs vary. In addition to customized services, I help clients with choice of entity, tax planning, decision guidance, executive compensation, stock options and retirement planning. The firm also provides outsourced accounting services, including general bookkeeping and financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.

I’m a native of Boulder, with a B.S. in Accounting from Colorado State University in May of 1981. I attended University of Denver Graduate Tax Program, graduating with a Master of Taxation in August, 1984. I’m a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

I volunteer with the Taxpayer’s Assistance Committee through the Colorado Society of CPAs, which prepares returns for low income families. As well, I am a past Trustee for the First Presbyterian Church in Boulder.

For stress relief and just pure pleasure, I play basketball twice a week, and enjoy golf, skiing and crossword puzzles. I’m raising 3 boys, aged 15, 12 and 10. We spend our leisure time together doing all sorts of family activities.
